Privacy and device safety

The report-drafting tool runs in your browser.

Draft text is not sent to Civic.Lambeth and is not submitted to the council by this app.

You must copy your draft and use the official service yourself.

Civic.Lambeth cannot see whether you have sent a report or whether an organisation acted on it.

Do not enter names, exact addresses, postcodes, phone numbers, email addresses, financial details, medical information, National Insurance numbers, case references or information about other people.

Use a general area, ward or nearby public landmark instead.

If you choose “Save on this device”, your browser stores the item on this device.

Civic.Lambeth cannot see, recover or delete saved items for you.

If you share this phone or computer, other people may be able to see saved information.

If your browser profile is synced or backed up, saved information may be available through that browser or device account.

Saved information may be lost if you clear browser data, use private browsing, change device or use a browser that blocks storage.

You can delete individual saved items or clear all saved Civic.Lambeth items from the My Next Steps page.

Clearing Civic.Lambeth items cannot remove screenshots, browser history, copied text, downloads, browser backups or other device traces.

Civic.Lambeth is designed so that draft text and saved-item contents are not intentionally sent to Civic.Lambeth’s application or stored in its database.

Like most websites, technical hosting and security systems may process limited connection information needed to deliver and protect the site.

We do not use draft text for analytics, advertising, session replay, AI processing or profiling.

Civic.Lambeth does not monitor what you type and cannot contact emergency services or support organisations for you.
